Hi,
I found a strange free floating vascular rootless plant growing at a canie old speed in my tank after looking at it with a magnifying glass I was chuffed to see little bladders all over it and discover it was a species of Bladderwort .Dont know what species though or how it was introduced. I have searched high and low for information and could only find one link on a site calling it Aquarium V.D. and being a hard plant to erradicate. I find it quite interesting at the minute except hair algea grows on it and its hard to seperate.
please let me know your views ,experiences what ever about it ? should I remove it now or let it grow ? please let me know.
All the best,
G. John

It might eat fry or very small fish.:D

Predator plant great !
The bladders are only about 1mm in length. The tank is 48" x12" by 16" high.It hosts a 12" Ornate Bichir . 5.5" Hoplo cat and a 5" Hep. odoe.Would like it to look a bit more like something from little shop of horrors but more like the weed pearlwort !
Thanks for the reply.
G.John
