Blaptica dubia breeding question??

I went into my Dubia roach bin to look for possible newborns and found some, not much, but I found some. I also noticed that there where a few dried up egg sacks laying around. My question is are these rejected egg sacks that the female pushed out of her? And if so, are they because the female wasn't in the right conditions to give birth?
