Patternless leopard geckos still look strange to me. I see your little blizzard lost his tail at some point. Bummer.

Trust me, he/she lost it's tail sometime in life. The regrown tail doesn't have the same skin bump pattern and it is real fat, short and tulip shaped.
Look at my females tail in my personal gallery. She lost half her tail and it grew back the same way.

Definitely a regrown tail. However, the way it has grown back in, it appears that the drop happened very early in its life (not uncommon for babies) and is absolutely nothing to worry about.
