I have a quite a few dirty Filter Socks and I need to clean them now...

I have 2 Q's.

1) Any type of Unscented Bleach (this is my biggest worry) with water.
Prime (Water conditioner) with Water untill Bleach smell is gone??

2) I read about washing them in the Washer... does this change if I have a HE Washer? I say this because I get left over Detergent where I fill'er up (Im probly not ganna use this but thought to post it incase someone does).

Thanks:D

I don't bleach them at all.

I just turn them inside-out and throw them in the washer (an LG HE model) with a load of towels. I use a little detergent (we use the scent/dye free kind) and they come out nice and clean.

Hmmm... You dont dip them in some kind of Water Conditioner after... just Plug and Play??

heck man just hose them out and reuse thats what i do you can bleach if you want then soak in clean water and let dry good to go .personally i would not throw those stinky things in my washer Ever:screwy::grinno::grinno::grinno: GROSSSSSSSSSSS:ROFL:Clorox is always top quality ...

I hose em off also. In the colder months I throw em in the washer at the local laundrymat, they don't come out as clean so a soak in diluted bleach and a soak in fresh water and they come out looking like new.

Wife won't let me put em in our washer :WHOA:

I use bleach on occasion, but not all the time. I also have an HE washer. I just toss them in and run it without detergent. Then, put them back into use.

Thanks all. Ive rinsed them out with hot water and washed the best I can by hand... they are just starting to clog faster so I need to do a good wash on them now.

I'll try diluted Bleach then soak in Prime for a few days... Thanks :D

In the washer, no soap, no bleach. A water hose will never be able to get all those particles out, especially when you running 25 micron socks, those trap A LOT
