Working on setting up my 40 gallon breeder and everything is running smoothly so far. I decided to find rocks and wood instead of buying them as I'm trying to save a little money, so I soaked the rocks and wood in bleach and that's all good, now i'm drying them out so i can begin the soak in dechlor, I was just wondering how long I should soak them for since i couldn't find it anywhere, i'm assuming its the same 1-3days as bleach but i just wanna be sure :grinno:

I one time put found driftwood in my tank, I cleaned it with a wire brush, then soaked it in a 10% bleach solution for about 24 hours, followed by soaking it in dechlorinated water for two weeks (changing the water every few days).
