My lion that I got from my lf had just come from this guys tank and it was thin The lf store gave me it to try to get it to eat but so far ... no luck i have tried feeders shrimp and silversides but still no luck it is about 8in. and i think it is blind because the shrimp crawl on him and he does not even notice and does not go after them any advice? I think that is why the guy brought him in. Help!

Shrimp crawling on a lion is not an indication that it is blind. This is normal behavior, on a reef, to have "cleaner" animals check and clean parasites from large predators.
Try adding an appetite booster to the tank to spark his appetite. I'd also add live guppies, mosquitofish, or mollies to promote his stalking instinct. Also, add a vitamin/mineral supplement to the tank to keep him going (like an IV for human patients) until you can get him to feed.
Since he was a return from another customer, you may have to bow to the fact that some internal damage may have been done to him while in the other guy's tank. He may have dosed the tank with something that damaged the lion's internal organs. If so, he won't bounce back.
Good luck.

any brand of vitamin/mineral supplement do you recomend?

There are alot more supplements out there since I started using Vita-Chem. But, since, this one works well for me I've never tried the others. There may be a better one but, this is what I use.

thanx ill try that and see if he gets through this stage

would it eat fiddler crabs maybe without claws?

I agree with the feeder fish, he might have never been weened off them so he will never take anything else until you can get him feeding and back up to health. Also try a feeding stick right in front of him, he might take it and if he does that is a great way to medicate him internaly if you need to. Good Luck, keep us posted!
