blind cave fish issues

i have a question about some of my blind cave fish. I lost two blind cave fish because it looked like they ran there faces into something in the tank. I was hoping melafix would do the trick but they were not able to eat and died. It did not happen at the same time. one died and then a week or so later the other one died. I dont know if this is some fungus or if they are getting picked on in the tank...or if ..they are just blind! I have the following fish: 6 rasbora hetramorphas, 2 german blue rams 1 whip tail cat 1 peppered botia 1 albino cory cat 2 bumblebee gobies and 1 butterfly suckerfish....I still have two cave fish left and i dont want anything to happen to them. THere soooo cool. The tank is heavily planted with a large piece of driftwood. any suggestions would be great
