Came home from work today and noticed that my 8" jar has a blister on his body. Looks like a burn blister. I also noticed that heater has been moved. Does this look like a burn or is it something worse.

I saw photos of "lion main" online

now I know the photo suck, but she is always on the move.

I currently, and always have don 30% water changes twice a week, treating with prime every time. She is still eating with a good appetite, and her colours are very nice; in my opinion. Was missing some scales when I got her(transport was tough), but they have almost completely grown back. Currently I feed hikari pellets(carnivore), FD shrimp, and frozen tilapia mixed with vitachem. rotating them daily so she doesn't get bored. Not my first aro, but first Jar, and first experience with the Blitering.

It looks like it will heal itself. Its a pretty small wound. Keep an eye out for secondary infection. If it gets worse then add salt or if necessary treat for bacterial infection.

probably a burn. Add salt and if you want treat with a good wide spectrum bacterial med like paraguard or quickcure just to avoid the secondary infections instead of having to fight them. salt will help the wound heal easier as well.

It's hard to say if it's a burn or missing scale. When I had a Lei, it use to hit the acrylic locks I had and chipped it scales - looks like what your jar has. It quickly healed left alone.
