Blitzes... In late november???

Craziest thing happened to me. Some fisherman on instagram I follow had been posting about small blitzes (feeding frenzies) Where they caught both shad and stripers. I went out to try my luck... And found a pod! Super small fish, all only about a foot long but really fun and unusual here in LATE NOVEMBER!

small. Like 12-20 inches. Where are you located?

Jersey. If I go it would be in shark river.

I usually fish in delaware, indian river inlet. Not surprising at all the striper bite is there. Seems they really turn on right when it gets chilly especially in the tidal zones, especially at night. I've never got to try them myself, but I've seen a lot of dedicated rockfishermen using live eel with great success this time of year.
