The pond-world under the snow
I apologize for my late reply to Professor Chemistry. Conner, and Yanbbrox. I was a kind of busy. I checked in and peeked your posts during last week, but I got no spare time to prepare a comprehensive reply until now.

Nice! What did you get, 6-8"? We got about a 1/4" here . Stupid river valley.
Looks like you've done a good job protecting the pond from the elements. Is there a heater of some kind in there besides the bubbler to keep the surface from freezing?
Thanks for your kind words too. The blizzard had dropped 8"~11" in my neck of the woods(See pics below.)
I've used some tricks to keep the water from freezing over. The air temperature is 20~30ish degrees, and the water in my pond is about 40ish degrees right now (See pics below). 3 items have helped to maintain water above 30 degrees in my pond. 1) a light bulb heater is set near the filter cannister, 2) another light-bulb-heater is entombed within the canister. 3) a small fountain is circulated within the stainless steel drum (See pics in my previous post). BTW, I discontinued the use of the bubbler because it made too much of noises which bothered my fishies.

What about your "spy cam?" Not set up?
I spy-cammed my fishies just for you. Enjoy.
The pond-world under the snow
Fishies are hiding and "hypernating" under 3 feet of water at the dark corner of the pond.
