The smallest tank I've heard of them breeding in is 400 some odd gallons, and they were fed several dozen feeders a day. They are mouth brooders and hold their young for many weeks, not eating while their young live off of a yolk sack.

Fookin hell!!!! Thats amasing!! Thats like a dream come true there. I wonder how many that made it to adult size
