Let me introduce myself: My name is Mike, I have been keeping Discus on and off for the past 18 years. In 1991 I started the Conn. Discus Study Group with 7 members. We would travel to different breeders and hobbyists to get information and collect Discus for our tanks. The group stayed together for about 3 years. Now for the past 5 years my hobby is now a home based business, I have a 1200 sq ft fishroom with 8,75 gal tanks and 4,55 gal tanks 2 tanks per system 8 to 12 discus in each tank. I also have a planted 160 gal and a 180 BB tank. In my breezway I have 2,planted 75s and a 125 planted tank. Now that I am retired I spend most of my day with customers and working in the fishroom and getting a small store that I plan on offering Discus related products. Also a shopping cart attached to my web site which is blackwateraquaria.com. I mainly cater to the New England area. I dont ship my Discus but I will be shipping foods and hard goods. Thanks Mike D.
