55 gallon grow-out tank with 6 young Acarichthys Heckelii. Had the tank up and running for about a year. Woke up Saturday morning to find one of them being tossed around the tank by the current. Had no clue what was going on, started keeping a very close eye on the rest. They wouldnt touch food, noticed some long, white, stringy poop from one of them. Quickly, 4 more died, all in the same fashion. The end result was like the first, being tossed around the tank by the current, unable to control themselves.
I now have one left. He acts fine, coming up to the glass to beg for food. Dont want to lose him, so what do I do now? Already been doing large water changes of 50%/75% over the past couple of days. I've read about the epsom salt treatments. But is there any other methods/medications that work better? It's just the 1 Heckelii and a Dino Bichir in the tank.
