Tonight I noticed one of my CK's is really bloated like he ate a golfball. They rarely over eat, but it is possible he got hold of a chunk of shrimp for my pbass and aro. All of my CK's eat pellets and got their fill today. I hadn't noticed this bloating at feeding time. I feed the pellets before the shrimp because my oscars would get their fill on shrimp and never eat the pellets. My CK's get their fill of pellets too and then rarely show any interest in the shrimp beyond mouthing it. I hadn't noticed if this guy actually ate some shrimp because I have to make sure my pbass and aro get enough to eat.
Has anyone seen over eating like this before? I am worried that it may be bacterial or paracitic. I don't want to expose my fish to medications if they don't need to but I would also rather treat for an internal infection as soon as possible.
