Hi,
We started our discus tank about a month and a half ago. The tank was already cycled (it was home to some other fish that we moved to a different tank). pH ~ 7.0, 84 F, I tested the water today and there is a little Nitrate. My boyfriend does weekly water changes in this tank and usually changes about 30% of the water. We feed them Hikari Discus Bio-Gold, Cyclop-eeze, and freeze dried blood worms (Hikari).

There are 4 juveniles and two medium sized adults. Three weeks ago we noticed that one of the adults wasn't eating, was very dark, and was clamping fins. We also noticed the white excrete. So we isolated him and treated him with Prazipro for about a week and a half. He showed great improvement in all aspects, and after a few days we re-introduced him into the main tank.

Everyone was doing great for about a week and a half. Today I came home from work and one of the medium adults (which appears to be the healthy one, not the previously sick one) was swimming slanted. Then 10 minutes later he was dead and floating at the top with a swollen stomach. Our 4 clown loaches also appear to have ick on them suddenly. There have been no new comers to the tank in several weeks.

The main question is what caused the bloated stomach? Is it something that we should worry about spreading? We're going to do a water change tonight and treat the tank with Prazipro, is there anything else you'd recommend treating the tank with?
