Is it just me, or is that upper jaw polys are more likely to experience bloating?
I have also noticed that with my ornate, when he does bloat... i usually dont feed him again until he excretes the blockage, as i am afraid it will fully clog him up... I do notice that after a day or two he finally craps out a chalky white substance, rather than what i see with my endlis...
They are all fed the same food...usually frozen whitebait... the only differences are that he is upper jaw, and he is a whole lot smaller...and obvioulsy in a different tank...
I have a mate with the same problem, and another mate who also lost an ornate due to excessive bloating...it was frickin huge!
Anyways, I am going to try and feed him pellets instead and see how he goes with that... but any other ideas will be great...thx!
