A Chinese man has discovered nearly £200 inside the belly of a rotten fish his dog found in the rubbish.
According to a report from news source Ananova, Mr Wang of Huichun City, claims he noticed his dog "enjoying a fish" and decided to have a look.
"I lifted the fish, and saw it was already rotting. But then a package wrapper in oily paper dropped out", Wang is reported as saying.
"I used a stick to poke the package to make sure it wasn't a prank or something". Ananova says Wang "couldn't believe his eyes" when he spotted the money - 3000 yuan (about £200) inside the fish.
Bizarrely, Wang said that he believes the fish containing the money "must have been given to someone as a present, but I guess they didn't know about the money.
Wang has offered to return the money to the fish's owner if anyone can correctly identify the colour and other features of the package.
