A Chinese man has discovered nearly £200 inside the belly of a rotten fish his dog found in the rubbish.

According to a report from news source Ananova, Mr Wang of Huichun City, claims he noticed his dog "enjoying a fish" and decided to have a look.

"I lifted the fish, and saw it was already rotting. But then a package wrapper in oily paper dropped out", Wang is reported as saying.

"I used a stick to poke the package to make sure it wasn't a prank or something". Ananova says Wang "couldn't believe his eyes" when he spotted the money - 3000 yuan (about £200) inside the fish.

Bizarrely, Wang said that he believes the fish containing the money "must have been given to someone as a present, but I guess they didn't know about the money.

Wang has offered to return the money to the fish's owner if anyone can correctly identify the colour and other features of the package.

Its people like you that are spoiling this earth.
Generosity is getting rarer, people are becoming more selfish. Good for him offering its return.

Im not a selfish person, yet, if you found a $100 bill floating thru the air, would you take it or hand it in to the lost and found depot? Any old shmo could make up a wang doodle excuse to rid you of the 100 bucks to happen to find.
Finders Keepers.

I found some eggs in a smelt! Free loach food! Does that count?

id have never reported it and stashed it in my dresser! he was smart enough to check it out, the original owner wasn't... survival of the fittest.

:iagree::iagree:
However, in certain circumstances, such as if someone was a legit victim of money loss and NEEDED it and I found the cash, then sure, I'd give it back.
Many people who lose things do not require them to sustain them.
