so today noticed out of my 4 blood parrots one had the egg tube out and was acting like she is about to lay eggs, she has also paired with one of the male blood parrots,i cant tell them apart except for the egg tube.i took her and put with a male green texas to hopefully get some fry from them,my question is will he fertilize eggs even though he isnt paired with her? what would be the best method to get them to pair?

The act of spawning means that the fish have paired.
If no spawn then no pair bond.

I would guess the female was showing signs of a spawn with the other parrot and when she was moved she will either stop the process or go and lay her eggs somewhere, but I doubt that the male Texas will pay her any attention now and will not fertilize the eggs even if she lays.

It’s possible that they will pair up eventually but you can’t force them to pair.
Just give them time, see what happens
Even if they do pair up it is possible for the pair bond to be broken later.
Be patient.
