I have a lovely BP, who is now almost 5, who has ALWAYS held her fins tight to her body. She APPEARS to be healthy, eats well, swims well, etc -- but unlike her other BP tankmaktes, always has her fins "clenched", for lack of a better word. I SUSPECT that this is a submissive posture, but...

Ideas?

(The fish in question is the one with the black markings, somewhat center in the tank. In this pic, her fins are actually pretty extended -- when she's in full "clench" the dorsal fin is almost flush with her back.)

thanks!

I'd agree with it being a submissive posture. I suppose the other blood parrots are to blame for this.
