Hello. After a year of research I have gotten a Parrot cichlid. I've had ciclids in the past but am looking for any tips or any quirky things that are special to the Parrot cichlid. Oh and his/her name is Hagrid.
Not hard to keep really, semi aggressive,kind of slow moving,
In a big tank tankmates can include comet goldfish,oscars,giant danios, large rainbowfish etc.
Just make sure he gets his fair share of food.
Thank you so much. He is in a tank by himself for a couple more weeks. I quarantine all my fish for a couple weeks just to make sure they are healthy. I've noticed people use clay pots as caves. Are these just your garden pots or aquarium specific?
