I have about 6 BP's I'm growing out in a 150 gallon tank 4 of which body's only measure about 3 inches however I do have one 4.5 inch and a larger 5.5 inch parrot in the tank I would really like to keep all of the fish together but my 4.5 who's new to the tank is being supper aggressive constantly picking fights with my 5.5 inch BP and chasing away all four of my smaller 3 inch parrots should I separate him from the tank none of my other fish have ever had problems but this new guy seems to stir things up a bit and his lips seem to be enflamed and skinned should I place him in a separate tank with Melafix or should I just see if the aggression tones down in the next few days and wait for him to heal on his own

Since BPs dont have functional mouths, the only time i would remove a BP is if its showing stress since there shouldnt be significant damage. But if its look damaged, i treat it, the try to reintroduce in the future but rearange the tank first.

Ended up dropping the 4 smaller BP's back in their 75 and I put the two larger cichlids in a 40 breeder I sold my 150, now I'm wishing I had it back for s new tank idea. Lol too bad I was thinking about maybe brackish when my fish outgrow their tank or even breeding some discus.
