Ok, I know that likely these eggs will not hatch!! Let's say that they do, what do I do??? Some of them have turned white, which I think means that those are goners. Anyone who has successfuly breed these guys please give me a heads up on any first had experience you may have.

do you have a couple? if alot turned white they probably are all dead. but experts say you only have 1% chance on 100 on getting a fertile male. chances are there dead unlees ur that lucky number one lol.

Mine also just laid eggs and the female is hovering over the eggs that are scattered all over the gravel. The eggs (about 50) are creamy white in color. Let's hope that we both have fertile eggs!

Good Morning and yes, I do have a couple. And really Im very new to this and this is the second time I have noticed this, except I didn't realize the first time that she had actually laid eggs. So Im sure that I am not "the lucky one". Thanks for the input.

i dont no of any ever being bred as most are infertile. i would love these to be fertile and see what happens.

Mine is also hovering and even taking a nibble out of anyone who goes by. Athough her eggs are all over this rock I have in the tank and there are more like 200 to 250 eggs, easy! I'm almost sure I am not the lucky one but good luck to you. Im hoping that you soon will have a new arrival, your more than welcome to let me know, please.

I have had a couple (male and female) of Blood Parrots for a few years now who religiously lay eggs, only to have them turn white and grow fungus and then be eaten by the fish. This is normal because they are not fertile.
If your eggs are turning white and then furry, they are unfortunately dead. Sorry...

I had a convict and a parrot (female) breed but all the eggs where white and none made it. I knew they wouldn't but I still hoped that maybe a few would :(
