Blood Parrot Project

So I wanna see if I can get a pair that will breed Blood Parrots or close to it. So for starters I bred my Red Devil with a female Blood Parrot which should produce half Devil Parrots and half odd Red Devils. Then I will cross the best male Devil Parrot with another Blood Parrot. And from there I will see what I get.

F0 - Red Devil, Blood Parrot
F1 - Red Devil x Blood Parrot
F2 - RDxBP x Blood Parrot

Finally was able to get my Red Devil spawn without eating the eggs.

hello mate. if you wanted to make blood parrots or as close as.
you should have breaded a syn and red devil.
there is a thread about this somewhere on hear.
or red devil with syn and see what you get.
they are nicefish.
you project sounds nice tho mate keep us updated on the pics an that.

Sounds good! But will the hybrids be fertial?

The ones looking like Red Devil will be fertile. I am not 100% positive on the parrot ones but they should be.

Nice Chris .... I'm having trouble with my female parrot. Her tube is dropping but she is not laying eggs

Eggs were no good but I will keep trying. This was first time the male didn't eat the eggs so hopefully in a few more try they will get it right.
