so, I have a 55 gallon tank currently stocked with 3 bristlenose plecos, an african upside down cat, four angels, and four blue gouramis. could I keep a blood parrot here as well or no?

yes they will mix just fine with the fish you listed -the nice thing about parrots is due to their retarded mouths lol they cannot do damage to fish even if they try. They retain an aggressive nature from the Red Devil they come from but cannot do the damage because of the mouth. They work perfect for filling tanks and adding color
