id say 36x12x18 38g bare min, 55 would be better. they get the size of softballs and are very messy fish with a bit of attitude.

i dont have any pix of mine right now.
 
I say a with a 40 you could get by but for a real comfortablt tank about 50 gallons.

Meh, I fail to see how you guys disagree with putting a single adult in a 29 g, but want to put two adults into a 55. A 29g is 30"x12"x18.5" while the 55g is 48"x12"x21" leaving a 24"x12"x21" for each adult fish. Better footprint and more volume for a single in a 29g than for a single in half of a 55g.

that's why i prefer the 40 gal br. ;)
