blood parrot

ok so i went to petsmart to get a blood parrot, lost a dollar some where and had to get the smaller none orange parrots. i got 2 of them that to me looked more female. so when i got home i tried to vent them and could not tell if they were male or female does venting not work for these guys:confused:??? i heard they have to be in breeding mode to find out?? if you guys need vent pics ill take them later as my phone sucks at taking pics..
 
Assuming I don't forget, once my batteries are charged will take some vent shots of male and female parrots. They have always be a bit challenging to vent for me, I found it easier to throw a known male or female in and see how they react.
