I have a male and female blood parrot that I just received and put in my 50 gal. They are both 6".
The male keeps bugging the female and biting her tail. They were liplocking before. And flaring. Now the male has taken over the cave and the female stays closer to the surface in the middle of the tank. While the male either ignores her or goes to bug her a bit more.
I am worry a bit about damage as he has a functional mouth and can move his lower jaw unlike her who has a triangle mouth.
