I know that most of the males are infertile but I was wondering a few things

*Im sure some of this or all of it has been answered but im going to ask anyways*

Fist off how do I know when the eggs are no good? its when they turn white correct?
How long after the eggs are layed does this happen?

Second if they are unable to have fertile eggs which is more than likely the case is there another fish I can introduce that can fertilize the eggs?

and if so how do I go about that and what kind of fish? then do they have to be paired up or can another male just do his thing on the eggs?

Yes, after a few days the eggs will turn white and get fungus on them. The parents usually eat them at this point.

There are many male cichlids that will 'do the biz' with female parrots. You could try adding another male but more than likely he will get a battering by the parrots and probably won't want to be a sperm donor. Saying that, I did have this happen with a male convict in a mixed tank. He nipped in a did the deed while the parrots were spawning.

How big does the male convict have to be in order to try and fertize the eggs I just noticed them today and the female keeps doing this dance type thing where the eggs are does that mean she is still laying them? If I take all the fish out and leave just the male convict do you think they will get fetalized or just eaten

Use a texas...cooler looking offspring... You cant just put a fish in there and it happens, they go through a spawn before the egg laying happens... remove the male parrot and replace him with another male fish and allow them to bond...parrots readily breed with most CA/SA cichlids...good luck.
