So I have two blood parrots that are orange and brown they are not very aggressive and actually kind of just play/keep to themselves. BUT i have one that is black/grey striped and he is the tank bully he bullies the JD! He completely rules my tank! I'm wondering is this because he is a hybrid with a different fish than the orange ones?:WHOA:

There's no doubt there probably a bit of genetic variance between specimens, but it is probably just the temperment of the individual fish.

its so interesting he was the last one i bought and half the size of the other two, he bullied right away and is now the biggest!

I believe parrots are red devil breed with a convict = termpermental fish
i thought the convict made the bubblegum ones. but i would have to agree with this one he has the stripes and definitly is a jerk like the convicts, i had to get mine their own tank, but now i have so many babies, I got them as a gift and ill tell you what i know why now!

im new to this but hello i have 4 blood parrots to at about 4incs and to smaller at 2incs they have paired off and both lay eggs but eat them every time so i guess they are in infertile they have never been agressive to anything apart from the river shrimp i feed them once every two weaks they live with 6 clown loach and they have never been agressive but my friends has one in his tank and has killed every thing in his tank so i guess im lucky but how can u tell what they have been breed with so as u said they can be agressive

It would probably be easy to breed your fish with a convict,But there are so many other worth while choices you could make such as Texas or Red devil.
It won't be as easy to do, but you are looking at a lot of fry that you eventually have to find homes for.
