I had one of the big buckets full of bloodworms and another types of food. The temp in my ice box went down and the whole thing melted into one big lump. what should i do? i refrezzed the cup. But i only have 2 small fish. Should i melt it down again and put it in ice trays and serve them that way?

I can cut solid meat with a sharp knife...I am not suggesting you do that, I am just stating how I personally would go about it...I would just make my own chunks and toss them in a bucket...It is not good to thaw, freeze, thaw, freeze,...etc...Food looses quality each time as well as it also enters into the "danger zone" the temp range of 41 degrees to 140 degrees F...Bacteria grow rapidly on food, when it sits in this temp range for any considerable amount of time...I love my fish and care for their safety the same as I would my own kids....Good luck...

It didnt thaw out that much... It was still in the freezer it just went down 10 and then i had to turn it back up. So it was still COLD. For some reason all my freezers make ice all over my food... Like its to cold or something. I have a deep freezer im going to try next.

sounds like either yer freezer is dying, you have the vents inside the freezer blocked, you leave the door open or theres a few other things..... guess what i do for a living

i would just cut/chip the block apart as needed..

I think it was the vent. She likes to pack that thing sometimes. So ya now im just breaking off cunks. Kinda like it. It was a 150-100 mix of bloodworms and krill? Iforgot what the other was. But now i get then all in one lump.

Down fall is i only have 2 small fish that will eat them. I dont have enuff in my plated tank for the size that is coming apart. Thanks.

Ya i just took a big peace to my friend. He has a 600g with 20 fish.. it was fun watching.
