Ok, I found that I'm allergic to bloodworm.:irked:

How do i remove the allergen from my water?:nilly:

How do i clean the outside surfaces of my tank without killing my fish?

I am the only one that will do the maintainance on the tank. I won't ask anyone else to do this for fear that they may be allergic as well. I hope you guys can help me here.

You too huh? I'm not, but many out there are. You'll have to do a large water change. Clean outside of tank with a hot rag ... I wouldn't use anything chemical to be safe. Go over it a few times.

you have no one to ask for help taking off the bloodworm who arent allergic to it?
is the allergic triggered on contact?
have you try using long sleeve rubber gloves?

no offense but sounds you try to kill him LOL
he is allergic to it and you suggest the OP to literally soaking with it

it's not in the water or on the tank, it's the worms themselves. just don't use them and you'll be fine. i'm allergic to them as well but my wife feeds them to my fish and i don't have a problem with it, but as you have no one to do it for you just don,t use them.

if it is theres no problem then..all he got to do is dispose the left over and let the one in the tank eaten or rod away

I didn't tell him to stick his hands in the water though :) Just do a large water change. Outside of the tank shouldn't be too contaminated so it shouldn't hurt him at all to wipe outside with a hot rag, not touching the surfaces.

Never once said to soak in his tank water ^_^

I have heard of people not being able to touch the water before. Either way, he's been doing it all this time so whats one more big water change in which any leftover residue will be small.
