Have you tested your water?
Yes
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes

Do anyone else's fish get weirdly buoyant after they eat bloodworms? My fatass male septemfasciata ate 2 whole cubes of bloodworms (supposed to be shared amongst him and his 3 females) so now he's trying very hard to keep himself from floating. My past bettas would do that when I fed them bloodworms too.

Ive heard it’s common for fish to get gas after eating bloodworms it SHOULD clear up, heat up the water a lil bit too

I have not but did you just toss the cubes in whole, still as a cube, or did you let it break apart and soak before putting it in? If you did it as a whole cube then I’d imagine it could be it expanding inside him if the little piggy as it rapidly not giving it enough time to swell and break apart.
