Would it be safe/healthy to feed my CA's (Convict, Firemouth, Salvini) frozen bloodworms on a daily basis? This would obviously be in combination with a high quality pellet as well (NLS, Hikari Gold).

i used to feed my cichlids frozen bloodworms once a day and they loved it and had no problems. it will be fine.

it is safe, and imo a good food for bulking up fish. just make sure they keep eating the pellets as the bloodworms have virtually no nutritional value.

No nutritional value? So I take it that the fat content is what contributes to additional calories. Either way, my fish love them (the Salvini snipes them like it's her job).

Yes, I guess I just didn't realize how void the product was on macronutrient content. As I said, my fish love them either way.

Oh trust me, bloodworms are like crack to my fish! I still feed them about every other day in my 220. But I feed cichlid pellets primarily

Buy the Hikari Biopure brand blood worms, they add vitamins and other nutrients.
