Are they considered meat? I am wondering because I have some cichlids that shouldn't eat meat, would it be safe to feed them frozen bloodworms? Thank you.
 
This depends on how you define meat. In general meat refers to muscle. Blood worms have muscle, so yes blood worms have meat.

If you are defining meat in a broader sense as animal flesh (rather than just the muscle), then yes obviously blood worms are meat.

I think of meat more defined by protein... and bloodworms have protein.. so yes, it's carne!! nom nom nom CARNE!! <<< sorry that was necessary..
