BLOODY PARROT CICHLIDS??

Hello to all fish hobbyists.Ok i've been in the hobby since i was 15.I'ger m 26 years old through the years of trial and error i bought 2 bloody parrot fish they are still alive till this day there both 10 years old i just wanted to know the life expectancy of these fish cause i looked for resourses and sites say no longer than 10 years and if thats true there full of crap they are still active till this day if anyone has any imput on this thread please reply on some more info

Welcome to mfk!!! I love parrots. The longest living parrots are hard to determan because they are a new fish. Their liniage members live 12-15 and sometimes more (just like a human) I have heard of some fishes living 20+ years.....
