so ive noticed ive been getting bubble from the fx5 output lately... so i tried alot of things... so far i have checked and tightened up my hose clamps, my intake connection is under the water level now as well before it was water level height, ive tried some vaseline on the o-ring top lid seal, i have even turned the output valve down to half for a few hours and then opened it up thats worked for a day or so but then it started with micro bubbles again...
and yesterday i did a water change, and once the level was low enough that the intake would have gotten air i shut the pump off, and then filled it up treated my water and then started the pump up again.. and all was running and looking great no bubbles or anything and i thought alright i got it this time !!! i woke up to the friggin thing blowing micro bubbles again grrr..... im tired of racking my brain over this lol ... it drives me crazy with all the micro bubble in my tank makes it look like there is small dirt or particales floating around everywere lol
the bottom try - blue bio balls
middle tray - ehiem substrate media
top tray - 2 coarse filter pads, fluval carbon
i also did a full cleaning of the filter couple weeks ago...took my fine filter pads out but that isnt the problem apprently
