Just wanted to show these off while the glass was semi clean.
I've had these for a year now and couldn't be happier with how they've turned out. They were around 1.5" when purchased. The first two pics are the largest males that's around 5.5 to 6 inches!
The 3rd is a smaller male around 4 Inches and the last being a female.

Something that has been Interesting to me is the fact that the female has paired with and spawned several time with the smaller male in the last 4 or 5 months. The larger male has never shown any Interest in her whatsoever and doesn't bother the pair when they breed. If anything the random blood parrot that we took in is more of a nuisance.

Very nice love those fish….they blow away the silly “electric” one
I've never actually owned an eba for this reason. Much prefer the originals. Andinoacara rivulatus and pulcher were the first fish that changed my passion for the hobby in a positive way. I've been hooked on them and their relatives ever since. That being said I do love a good chocolate cichlid as well
