Hi all, I have two 10 gallon tanks with blue Acara fry....one has fry that are over 2 months old and one has fry that are about a month old....my fish keep spawning and if I leave the fry in my community tank, they will be eaten....is it true that I cannot put new fry in the same nursery tank with older fry?

I've mixed fry before as well with no problems.

You may want to acquire a few more larger tanks. Growing out many fry in 10 gallon tanks is fine when they are tiny, but as they grow you will need space, especially as water quality decline because of the growing population, stunting and stress induced diseases are bound to happen. And if too crowded, the larger fry will started killing smaller fry.
If having a house full of tanks is not your intention, then allowing fry to be eaten in the community tank is your best option.
Most LFSs won't take fry until they are sellable size, @2".
