blue acara question

Hey Folks,

How big do blue acara get? Not electric blue but natural blue (Andinoacara pulcher) . the internet is very inconsistent on this I can find sites that state thy get 4 inches all the way to 8 inches.

About 6-8 inches usually.
Agree with the above, in nature 6" is normal, but aquarium specimens can surpass the rigors of nature with proper care.
They are very similar to their close cousin Andinoacara coeleopunctatus, where the average wild caught individuls found, average between 3-4", yet after a year + in my tank have hit 6 -7 inches for males, females slightly smaller.
