My 7 y/o (now 8) son bought a blue acara (2", with white, not normal orange border, yes its an acara not GT) with his christmas money, I originally put it in the only availible space our 5' tank, while it was surviving in there I wouldnt say it was thriving by any means. So I set up our old 20gallon added a couple of other fish I thought should of been fine (similar size f connie, adult keyhole, f bristlenose and some pepper cory's). Since then its gone from surviving to very thin.
Just wondering peoples opinions on transfering it to our old unused betta tank till it a, gets to a healthy size again and b, either sort out better tank allocations or get a new 40gallon for him.
