Can someone ID this for me.... is it definitely a blue acara? I know its female (it spawned last week) but not 100% certain if its blus acara or other acara cheers in advance! also, what do you think of the EBJD?

Definitely looks like a Blue Acara in the face but its colors seem to be quite a bit faded throughout the body. Is this her normal coloration?
Bump!!! can anyone confirm??? i'm pretty sure it is, but when you google blue acara all sorts of different variations come up, cheers in advance
just noticed the replies must have been typing at the same time... and as for its definitely not EBJD... I know that (or was that just sarcasm?)

Is this her normal coloration?" - cheers, and if I'm honest yes (that was part of the reason for the original question), the bars show up around feeding and she coloured up nicely when she spawned, got her in a 55, with danio's as dithers a few yoyo's and an EBJD. weekly water changes and 2 filters (Int and Ex - both rated at 650lph)
Agreed. The blue face markings look correct, but I don't see any orange trim on the dorsal fin.

there definitely isn't any orange on the dorsal... there is an ever-so-slight white trim to it that you can't really make out on my photo's
They aren't the best angle on the pics ... but the lack of body color compared to other blue acaras and the white trim would make me lean towards Andinoacara cf. pulcher "Venezuela".
