I'm a rep for dog/cat food in the great phoenix area, so I'm in and out of close to 30 petsmart/petco's twice a month. I usually spend a good 15-30 minutes checking out the fish section in every store.
I know these guys are common, but out of all my stores I have, I've only seen them in one store. There were 4 of them in the tank, these two looked to be the biggest and healthiest. I'm probably overstocked already, but figured what the heck.
They're not very aggressive so I've built up some protection for them in the back corner of the tank...they seem to be doing quite well...eating a ton and everything...sometimes even picking on the big boys.
And the sweetest thing...they were $0.97 each!
