my work just got two blue aros 99.99 each i would get one for 50. I want to get one but will it fight with my silver there about 4" i would put it in a 55 to grow out and im geting a bigger tank in the next couple months. It would be from the 55 to my 125 and then to my new tank which is going to be in the 200's would two be to much??
thank you

Try reading this outloud in one breathe. The only pause in that entire paragraph is a coma that's in a bad spot anyhow.

And I don't think I've ever seen a blue arowana. Could you possibly post pictures of them, I'd love to see!

P.s.
How big is your silver already? From my experience, the longer you wait and leave the silver in the 200 gallon (when/if you get one) the more likely he is to attack newly added fish. My suggestion would be to grow out the little guys until they are unable to be eaten by the silver, then add them to the 200+ gallon tank at the same time. Only my 2 cents though.

:iagree:

blue is just a black. but at 50... it's a steal!

take the advice given by the other members.

Yeah, blue aros are just small blacks.

id buy it, you already have the 125, and u said only a few more months for the upgrade. but even a 125 aint bad compared to what others offer to them as a final tank. plus its a black/blue, it grows slower

i say buy it

yea itll take plus or minus a year for it to "grow out" of a 125, if its a normal footprint
but if your sure your getting a tank go for it
50 dollars is a steal last time i saw one selling it went for 190
