I have a blue background and you cant even tell its there unless I take a picture. How does everyone get the background to show up looking in the tank? When I look in my tanks the blue is just"not there"it looks black.I have black gravel-maybe that is why?

did you wet the background when you put it on or just hang it behind the tank?

i just tape mine on the back of the tank and it looks great. hasen't come untaped either!

I didnt wet it-just taped the ends to the sides and kinda pinned it to the tank with the ac110

Maybe try just wetting a corner or something and push it to the tank to see if it makes a difference. I know when I first hung mine it looked like you could see it really good till I slashed some water on there and it made the background "stick" the the glass which made it a lot brighter/clearer.

Unless it's too much work to untape it and wet it and stuff

If that doesn't work. I'm fresh out of ideas

im not questioning your methods, im just curious. do you have to put water on again every day? i would expect that it dries

No you don't have to wet it everyday. Just once. The tricky part is wetting the whole thing and squeezing out the air bubbles (I use a credit card) without soaking the floor. And if you're a perfectionist like me it's a pain to get all the bubbles out. But after you do it initially you don't have to do it again.

I think the water just makes and air tight seal. And that allows the background to be seen really clearly through just the glass and water as opposed to the water glass and air between the background. I think anyway

Good luck. hope it works out for you
