Blue channel catfish care?

Rescued one from walmart and he is in my 10 gallon hospital tank as of now.He eats flakes,shrimp pellets and bloodworms and ive already noticed him growing slightly.Ive had him for about 3 weeks and just wanted to know more like minimum size tank-thanks

You need a huge tank!, these guys get to be monsters and quick! they get around 3 ft and very wide too... when i had mine i fed it cichlid pellets and algea wafers. seem to eat bout anything tho... especially loved it when i would throw n thawed shrimp

Ok thanks.I was hoping my future 180 would be ok but guess not lol.

Ive got mine in a 4x4 growout, his final pond will be 8x4, its the winter so hes not growing much but they can grow over an inch a month. He eats sinking carnivore pellets.

Yeah his next move will be in my 90 gallon 48x18x24 tank then a 180 or larger..I hope he doesnt outgrow a 180 gallon anytime soon!

Mine did,he was in real bad shape though but what do you expect from walmart fish..
