So i got a blue crab at an asian market, that i was going to cut up for puffer food, but ended up being alive..
I hear they can live in freshwater, or almost fresh just fine. Do I just drip acclaimate it, or what?

i really doubt that and i understand that some salt inhabitants can live in brackish to fresh water -- Bull Shark, for example.

Yeah. They can live fine in fresh. Thats how they are being raised for food now. Not too sure about actual breeding though.

Cool, my bad.

If you'd like, sign up on bluecrayfish.com and message "redgoalie". He purchased some from his market to keep as pets, he can give you all kinds of information for correct acclimations, set-ups, etc for having them in FW.

The Maryland blue crabs?

The guy at the meat market gave me a free one for some reason... It died over night :(

Pics upcoming.
I wasnt sure whether to put it in fresh or saltwater, as I read they are farmed in both. So i threw it in straigt fresh, and he's been fine so far..
