i have 7 red bellied paranha and i was wondering if i were 2 add a cray fish if it would get killed. OR would his exoskeleton help defend his untimely demise?

thanx all oppinions appreceated.

I've seen RBPs tear large plecos apart. So, crayfish chiton won't stop them. Especially after a cray molts. And, most of the underbelly is softer then the dorsal exoskeleton.

My one inch puffer destroyed four 3 inch crays in one day

yeah once i had a blue cray and it fell from a rock and landed on its backside...immediately the p's attacked him and ripped him into pieces...it was a sad day..

I agree with everys post.
At the very least once the crayfish has molted he will be easy prey..

Yep, that Cray would be toast.
