Hey if anyone has some info or general knowledge on the compatability between still young but aggresive fish (like oscars, knifes, bichirs, and other cichlids) and blue crays. but basically i was wondering if the cray can hold on his own and not get eaten or harassed by my other fish????

Welcome to the forum, depends on how big the blue is, if its big yeah it can holds it own and also eat any small fish that gets to close but as the fish get bigger it will get harassed when it comes to molting.

thanks for the tip im just gonna have to find a big one at my lfs

Well, they will do in community tanks because they have fans instead of claws, and also they need some type of current to filter food but this is all i really know about these guys.

Very bad idea to combine large cichlids with crayfish, and also to put small fish with large crayfish.
I know from experience... (blue crays are aggressive too)
I once had 12" crays with 8" cichlids no problem though. (pure luck)

bigger craysare not a good idea to keep with slow small fish but if they are big enough things SHOULD be fine thers like a 50-60 percent chace of keeping it succesfuly.
just in my experience.
