blue crayfish help

i have a 220 and a 75 gallong tank with a few african cichlids
i have a few blue crayfish in the tanks but every time the cray fish molt they get eating by the cichlids. i have hiding places were they can hide, so i dont know why this is happening
WHAT CAN I DO TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM?

not much you can do, that is part of why it can be a bad mix

i dont dink you can mix blue lobster with cichlids.. because when the lobster grow up, it gonan start poping out the eye of the cichlids or hurting it.. it a very bad mix!! i suggest you either put the lobster somewhere

they eat the molt or they eat the lobster

if it the lobster because wen molting the new shell is very fragile
if it the molt, i saw you take it out when it molts.. my blue crayfish molts everything 3-4 weeks..

but i say either seperate them or find another tank.. cichlid + lobster = bad mix =)

not a problem. they breed like rabbits. good source of food for the blue crayfish
