So i have a pretty big tank with a 18" jardini and a 6 in pleco. i was wondering if im able to add a 3.5" blue crayfish as a tank mate??

The Jar will probably kill it. You could try a cheap crayfish feeder to test it out.

yea i'm assuming with only a pleco as a tankmate that your jar doesnt like tankmates. maybe if there are hiding places in your tank the crayfish could survive. good luck

will the cray fish try biting the jar or the pleco, because i have other tanks i can just keep the cray in if the aro starts preying on it. but keep the advice going wanna know what you guys think. thanks

The cray won't go out of his way to try to hurt the others but he'll certainly end up as lunch quicker than you can pull him out of there. Crayfish are good nutrition though, that's the plus side :)

Pretty big, huh? Just a warning: Most of the time, when a person says "Pretty big", they are talking about a 55 or less. Obviously, you have more than that, because an 18" Jar couldn't turn around without you noticing how awkward it is in a 55. But for better help in the future, it would be helpful to the poster and the repliers to know the gallonage involved. Happy fishkeeping!

Oh, and crayfish are a great snack for most predators.

WONT THE JAR EAT IT
